The Sanctuary of Montallegro rises in a splendid panoramic position behind Rapallo and projects itself on the enchanting Gulf of Tigullio providing a view of rare beauty.

In order to reach and appreciate the natural beauties from above it is possible to take advantage of a comfortable cable car that connects Rapallo to the place of worship in just six and a half minutes, offering an unforgettable excursion and the possibility of dominating the beauties of the municipalities from above. of Rapallo, S.Margherita Ligure and Portofino.

Once you reach the Sanctuary, there are also ancient mule tracks that connect the Sanctuary with Uscio, Cicagna, Chiavari and with the Ligurian hinterland, providing possible excursions for those who are passionate about trekking and mountain biking.

For visitors traveling by train it is sufficient to get off at Rapallo station and then walk to the cable car which is located a few meters behind the station and which will allow you to easily reach the Sanctuary.

For those traveling by car, scooter or bus, you must instead exit onto the A12 motorway at the Rapallo tollbooth, the same as our campsite.
